This Springfield Armory manufactured three notch tumbler assembly is for the model 1873 trapdoor rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear.  (file photo)

Note: Model 1873 trapdoor carbines with a serial number above 20,000 and trapdoor rifles with serial numbers above circa 78,000 would have this tumbler present.
